Vacherin Mont d’Or
Ingredients:
- 1 round Vacherin Mont d”Or
- 2 cloves garlic or equivalent
- ½ c Dry white wine
- Aluminum Foil
Preparation and Cooking:
Preheat your oven to 350°F
- To avoid burning
and spills, wrap the outside of the wooden box in aluminum foil
- Pierce the top of
the cheese and place garlic slivers in the holes
- Pour the wine
over the cheese
- Bake until smooth
and slightly runny (about 15 minutes)
- Serve in the box
and dip your choice of bread, crackers, veggies, sliced salami into the mixture
and eat as you would a fondue
