Toasted
d’Affinois Sandwich with Almonds, Raisins and Honey
A meal, a snack, an appetizer … you decide! Adapted recipe from Editions Marabout – Frédérique Chartrand
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of multigrain or whole wheat
bread
- 250 grams d’Affinois Pepper Brie
- small amount of chopped almonds
- a handful of raisins
- liquid honey
Preparation and Cooking:
- Turn your oven to broil
- Toast the slices of bread (in the oven or the easy way in
the toaster)
- Cut the Pepper d’Affinois into slices (do the best you
can it won’t be easy)
- Place the slices on the toasted bread and broil for
approximately 5 minutes
- Right out of the oven top with almonds, raisins and
drizzle with honey
- Serve immediately
