Toasted d’Affinois Sandwich with Almonds, Raisins and Honey

A meal, a snack, an appetizer … you decide! Adapted recipe from Editions Marabout – Frédérique Chartrand

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of multigrain or whole wheat bread
  • 250 grams d’Affinois Pepper Brie
  • small amount of chopped almonds
  • a handful of raisins
  • liquid honey

Preparation and Cooking:

  • Turn your oven to broil
  • Toast the slices of bread (in the oven or the easy way in the toaster)
  • Cut the Pepper d’Affinois into slices (do the best you can it won’t be easy)
  • Place the slices on the toasted bread and broil for approximately 5 minutes
  • Right out of the oven top with almonds, raisins and drizzle with honey
  • Serve immediately
