1 pinch of oregano
6 lasagna noodle pieces

Preparation and Cooking:

Preparation and cooking:

In a large pot, heat oil on medium high.

Add onions and garlic and cook until the onions start to soften.

Add ground beef and brown. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add both can of tomatoes, the tomato paste, sugar, basil, oregano.

Let it simmer for 25 to 30 minutes

In a separate pot, cook the lasagne pieces following the instructions on the box. (even I can do this part!!)

In a large rectangular pyrex container (9 X 15) alternate layers of:

  • tomato sauce
  • 3 pieces of lasagne
  • 1 layer of mozzarella
  • 1 layer of Gruyere
  • 1 layer of parmesan
  • 1 layer of Ricota

Repeat these layers in the same order a second time

Cook in middle of oven at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes

Enjoy!!!
