Granny’s Spicy Spinach Salad

Granny’s Spicy Spinach Salad
~A nice variation on a summer salad.
Have this as an appetizer, or with your main course.
 
Ingredients:
250g Parmigiano Reggiano (Available at the shop)
500g Spinach
250g Smoked Bacon
2 Granny Smith Apples
3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Fig & Fire Balsamic Vinegar Reduction (Available at the shop)
 
Preparation and Cooking:
Trim and wash spinach and rip apart with your hands
 
Dice bacon and brown in a spoonful of the oil
 
Peel apples and cut into thin segments
 
In a measuring cup mix the oil and balsamic reduction
 
In your salad serving bowl put the torn spinach, cooked bacon and apple slices. Toss with the oil and balsamic mixture.
Once served shave the Reggiano on top of the individual servings
Enjoy with your favourite white!
