Apple Relish with Esrom Cheese
Serve ΒΌ inch
slices of Esrom cheese on toasted dark rye or multigrain bread, topped with
Apple Relish!
Ingredients:
- 1-2 tsp white balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp grapeseed oil
- 2 tsp walnut oil
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2-3 of your favourite apples
Preparation
and Cooking:
- Stir together a dressing of white
balsamic vinegar, grapeseed oil, walnut oil, maple syrup, salt and pepper
- Dice the apples into small pieces,
place them in a bowl and cover with the dressing.
- Stir and then let the relish develop in
the fridge.
When ready to serve:
Remove the Esrom from the fridge 1 hour
before it is to be eaten to allow its flavour and aroma to unfold.
- Toast the bread slices.
- Place the cheese slices on the bread.
- Spoon apple relish onto the cheese slices .
