Bacon Salad with Tête de Moine
Ingredients:
- 4 bacon slices per serving
- Mixed greens
- Olive oil
- Blanched pine nuts
- Balsamic vinegar
- Pepper
- Tête de Moine cheese florets or shavings
Preparation and Cooking:
- Fry bacon until crispy. Once cooled, chop/break into smaller pieces.
- Toast the pine nuts on a baking sheet until golden yellow, watch carefully to make sure they don’t burn.
- Place crispy bacon on individual plates.
- Cover with mixed greens.
- Drizzle with oil and balsamic.
- Place cheese florets or shaving on top of the greens.
- Season with pepper to taste.
