Fleur D’Aunis, Sweet Potato and Jambon Tart
Ingredients:
- 400 grams
Fleur D’Aunis cheese
- 1 packet
of puff pastry
- 1 sweet
potato
- 1/2 red
onion – thinly sliced
- 4 – 6
slices of Jambon cured dried ham
- Thyme
- olive oil
- freshly
ground black pepper
Preparation
and Cooking:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Thinly slice the sweet potato place in a bowl
- Dribble olive oil over the sweet potatoes and season with
pepper and thyme. Mix until evenly coated
- Place on a cookie sheet or roasting pan and roast in the
oven until soft. About 20 minutes until soft.
- Set aside
- Roll out the puff pastry and put onto baking pan/sheet.
- Slightly roll the edges
- Prick the pastry with a fork and bake for about 5
minutes.
- On the pastry, layer the onion, Jambon and cheese between
the sweet potato slices.
- Lightly coat with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh thyme
leaves.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 350°
