Potatoes aux Fleur D’Aunis

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 Yukon gold potatoes thinly sliced
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 250 grams Fleur D’Aunis cheese grated and divided
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 thick slices of bacon cooked and chopped

Preparation and Cooking:

  • Stir the soup milk, green onions, garlic, ½ of the bacon bits, and cheese into a bowl.
  • Mix in the potato slices until evenly coated let sit for 20-30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9” x 13” baking dish
  • Arrange the potatoes so they are evenly distributed
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil
  • Bake until potatoes are fork tender approximately 35 minutes
  • Uncover and top with remaining cheese
  • Broil until potatoes are golden brown
  • Sprinkle the top with the remaining bacon bits
