Potatoes
aux Fleur D’Aunis
Ingredients:
- 6-8 Yukon gold potatoes thinly
sliced
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 250 grams Fleur D’Aunis cheese
grated and divided
- 2 green onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 4 thick slices of bacon cooked
and chopped
Preparation and Cooking:
- Stir the soup milk, green
onions, garlic, ½ of the bacon bits, and cheese into a bowl.
- Mix in the potato slices until
evenly coated let sit for 20-30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- Transfer the mixture to a
greased 9” x 13” baking dish
- Arrange the potatoes so they
are evenly distributed
- Cover the dish with aluminum
foil
- Bake until potatoes are fork
tender approximately 35 minutes
- Uncover and top with remaining
cheese
- Broil until potatoes are golden
brown
- Sprinkle the top with the
remaining bacon bits
